Terms of Service

Last updated: April 14, 2026

By using Ruckus you agree to these terms. We wrote them short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email robb@stormforgesolutions.com and we will explain.

The platform is provided as-is

Ruckus is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do our best to keep it working, keep your data safe, and fix bugs quickly. We make no warranties (express or implied) about fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stormforge Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.

Your content

You own the content you upload -- photos, videos, comments, profile info, event configuration, roster data. You are responsible for what you post. By uploading content to an event, you grant Ruckus the rights needed to store, display, and transmit it to the other members of that event and to back it up for operational purposes. You retain ownership.

Do not upload content you do not have the rights to share. Do not upload content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or infringes on someone else's privacy.

We can suspend accounts for abuse

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that abuses the platform, violates these terms, or puts our users or infrastructure at risk. Examples of abuse include spam, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized access attempts, and uploading illegal content.

When we can, we notify you before a suspension. When safety is at stake, we suspend first and explain afterward.

Organizers are responsible for their events

If you run an event on Ruckus, you are responsible for the content and conduct of that event. You own the roster, the communications you send, the tickets you sell, and the refunds you owe. Ruckus is the platform; you are the host.

Organizers must comply with applicable laws, including anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR for EU recipients), payment card industry rules, and venue agreements. Do not use Ruckus to send marketing mail to people who have not consented.

Payments and disputes

Payments on Ruckus are processed by third-party payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Square, and others). When you pay for a ticket or service, your card details go directly to the processor. Their terms of service apply to the transaction itself.

Payment disputes go through the payment processor. If you need to dispute a charge, file a chargeback with your card issuer or contact Stripe (or the relevant processor) directly. Ruckus does not arbitrate payment disputes between attendees and organizers. We do provide organizers with the transaction records they need to resolve disputes.

Refund policies are set by the organizer for each event. Read the event's refund terms before you pay.

Age restriction

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ruckus. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform with a reasonable notice period. Continued use after the notice period means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
